We are currently looking for an HR Training & Development Coordinator who will be based out of our New Berlin location and directly contribute to the success and growth of our employees, as well as our organization as a whole.

Under the guidance of the Vice President of Human Development, the HR Training & Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in identifying training needs, designing development plans, and executing training programs for teams and individuals within our organization. This role will also involve managing our Learning Management System along with supporting the Human Resources team with day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with stakeholders to identify gaps.

  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System and training records.

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs using various methods such as classroom training, on-the-job training, and workshops.

  • Facilitate leadership development programs and other skill enhancement initiatives.

  • Create and maintain annual training plans and corporate training matrices.

  • Work with leaders and employees on internal progression program deployment and enhancement along with promotions and succession planning.

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and arrange on-the-job training.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external experts on instructional design, content and training & development.

  • Coordinate external training programs and integrate them with internal development efforts. (ie. Local tech schools, industry experts and organizations).

  • Work with state and federal government agencies regarding grant/funding opportunities and prepare and submit for funding.

  • Track and report Training and Development KPIs to leadership.

  • Coordinate celebrations and other events to recognize employees for their contributions and completion of training and development opportunities.

  • Stay up to date on new training methods and techniques.

  • Collect feedback from trainers and trainees to improve future sessions.

  • Play a key role on the Human Resources team assisting with additional HR roles/responsibilities as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Communication, Organizational Development or similar degree.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a training and organizational development role preferred.

  • Familiarity with HRIS and learning management systems preferred – we currently utilize Paycom.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams) required.

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.

  • Ability to connect with all levels in the organization.

  • Desire to take initiative and develop a pro-active relationship with employees through follow-up, understanding their needs and fostering a collaborative relationship.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload; must be able to lead multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail.

  • Bi-lingual candidates preferred.
