Chobani Training Specialist (New Berlin, NY) in New Berlin, New York

Summary

The Training Specialist works with the Manufacturing Operation departments to develop and facilitate training activities. They will work with supervisors, operators and technicians to identify training needs, develop training materials and deliver or assist in the facilitation of the training.

Responsibilities

•    Deliver classroom or on-the-job Training as needed. •    Distribute and assist departments with completion of Job Training Plans. •    Coordinate with department leaders, and technical resources to develop or update training material. •    Assist with New Hire Onboarding, including giving training, reviewing timecards, and setting employees up in various company systems. •    Assist department leaders in collecting employee skill-level data and evaluating training outcomes. •    Work within the Learning Management System (LMS) to enter training records, edit curriculum, build quiz questions, and other related activities.

Requirements

Minimum requirements: •    2-4 years of hands-on experience delivering both classroom and on the job training. •    Able to work flex hours to accommodate training needs on different shifts. •    Experience or ability to work with diverse group of backgrounds. •    Strong written and verbal communication skills. •    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications. •    Excellent analytical capability and problem-solving skills. Preferred requirements: •    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. •    Experience developing and delivering training within a fast-manufacturing environment (dairy or food experience desirable). •    Experience developing technical training content and revising technical documents. •    Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar databases. •    Familiarity with adult education principles and practices. •    Familiarity conducting needs assessments.
