Position Details: COMPETATIVE RATES OFFERING SIGN ON BONUSES

Full time- $4000.00 sign on bonus

Hours:

Evenings 2:00pm - 10:30pm every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Overnights 10:00pm - 6:30am every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Basic Function: The primary purpose of the position is to provide sufficient skilled nursing care to meet the needs of the Residents of Chase Memorial in accordance with our established policies, procedures and regulatory standards.

Basic Function: The primary purpose of the position is to provide care for residents, as well as oversee the nursing staff. As a nurse supervisor, that nurse ensures there is adequate staffing for the facility, interacts with the residents and the resident’s designated party, manages issues that arise during the shift, and directs and supervises all aspects of resident care in accordance with local, state, and federal standards, guidelines, and regulations governing Chase Health Nursing Home.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the aging process, rehabilitation, and nursing care

  • Ability to effective manage nursing staff, act as an team player, educate, and serve as a resource to nursing staff

  • Ability to work with other disciplines as a team player

  • Ability to prioritize and complete assigned duties within a constantly changing environment

  • Knowledge of long-term care requirements for documentation communication system(s) to address resident condition changes

  • Ability to keep systems in place

  • Professional attitude, high degree of self-motivation and leadership qualities

  • Understanding and compliance of facility policies & procedures including Vulnerable Adult Act and Abuse Prohibition

  • Ability to monitor and enforce HIPAA compliance

  • Respond to call lights and monitor all staff in the facility for the same

  • All other duties as assigned

    Education, Qualifications and Credentials

  • Must possess a New York State RN License.

  • Current BLS and/or CPR certification.

  • Experience in geriatrics, supervisory experience
