Duties: Conducts personal or telehealth visits using the Parents as Teachers curriculum as a guide. Complete all child and family screenings required for the program. Meets weekly with supervisor for reflective supervision. Able to learn, understand and incorporate the three roles of a parent educator: partnering, facilitating, and reflecting into daily practice with all families from diverse backgrounds with an anti-racist and non-judgmental lens. Be able to establish rapport with families and empower them by building on their strengths. Strong knowledge and commitment to serving families of diverse social and economic backgrounds. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Maintain and submit in a timely manner all documentation in accordance with the program standards. Participates in required trainings. Performs data entry as necessary. Facilitates and engages families in group activities and other program events. Attends Parents as Teachers trainings, and other ongoing professional development as appropriate. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Learn more about us at https://www.meetingstreet.org Requirements Must meet ONE (1) of the following requirements: 3+ years experience as a parent raising children through ages 0-5 2+ years experience as a Parents As Teachers family participant 2+ years professional experience providing services to infants, toddlers and their families CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services or related field with 1+ year professional experience providing services to infants, toddlers and their families Required: Valid Drivers license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments. Valid CPR and First Aid Training or willing to obtain upon hire.
