Zeiterion Performing Arts Center Donor Engagement Manager in New Bedford, Massachusetts

POSITION OVERVIEW The Z?s Donor Engagement Manager will work to advance The Z?s mission by providing support for donor communications tied to regular development operations as well as a significant capital campaign. Along with the Director of Development, Grants Coordinator, and Development Coordinator, the Donor Engagement Manager makes up a small but mighty development team. We seek an organized, solutions-oriented, self-directed, and flexible person who will be a committed and contributing team player during a pivotal period in The Z?s history. Responsibilities: Fundraising Appeals ? Work with Director of Development to conceptualize and appeals to reach current and prospective donors via mail and email. ? With the marketing team, create and execute compelling communication and content strategically for unique stakeholder groups (e.g., donors, sponsors, ticket buyers, community partners, etc.). ? Build on the strengths of the existing fundraising program to develop an expanded approach in support of growing annual fundraising goals. Donor Stewardship ? Develop and assist in the portfolio management of donors and prospects, helping the board and staff to cultivate, solicit, and steward their support. ? Build a moves management program for existing supporters aimed toward cultivating strong relationships with donors. ? Contribute to ambitious organizational goal of creating a major gift program by Fall of 2025. Event planning and management ? Plan and manage (in conjunction with other staff) an annual calendar of events that complement and achieve fundraising and donor engagement goals and build member loyalty and retention. ? Enthusiastically interact with donors and guests in carrying out special events. ? Collaborate with Zeiterion staff on public programs and events. ? Event management duties include, but are not limited to: event planning and budgeting; engaging vendors; obtaining permits; recruiting and coordinating volunteers; guest list management.
