Ahead LLC 2nd Shift Team Lead - Garment Area in New Bedford, Massachusetts

The 2nd Shift Group Lead in the Garment area is responsible for overseeing the trimmers in the garment trim area. This position is also responsible for ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee 5 – 10 Garment Trimmers.

  • Prioritize & distribute work for team members

  • Ensure quality

  • Ensure on-time delivery

  • Additional duties as assigned

    Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Group or Team Lead experience is a must

    Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate and read instructions in English.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to solve problems.

  • Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must possess initiative, energy and drive.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to use hands, fingers and arms.

  • Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills.
