Project Cost Analyst

Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, has partnered with an American Company within the electrical utility industry. The position is a Budget Analyst to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote), in New Albany. This is a 12-month contract with intention to convert to FTE/perm & opportunity for growth.

Job Title: Budget & Cost Analyst

Location: New Albany, OH

Pay Range: $33 to $39

Position coordinates the utility construction project budget/cost analysis and controls for the Project Managers and Project Teams. Responsible for overseeing cost reporting for multiple projects, monitoring project budgets/costs on large and complex projects.

  • Cost Reporting, Project Budgets, for small to large, complex transmission/substation construction projects.

  • Document/Track cost spending, cash flow, budget variance monitoring in company software.

  • Coordinate project meetings, providing ongoing forecast updates, variance analysis

  • SOX activities, estimate vs actuals analysis, etc.

  • Collaborate & support with PMs and Project Teams throughout project lifecycle.

Analyst Requirement: Bachelor degree + 1 year experience OR Associate degree + 3 years experience

Analyst Sr: Bachelor degree + 4 years experience OR Associate degree + 6 years experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite & Computer Software

  • Excellent Oral & Written Communication skills

  • Commitment to Customer Service & Teamwork

  • Strong Analytical Skills

  • Experience working on cost tracking analysis, forecasting, and project budgets
