Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: Perform month-end closing procedures including the preparation of monthly journal entries, monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and monthly fluctuation analysis of general ledger accounts. Support the accounting team's commitment to timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording and reporting of financial transactions and to streamline processes and provide financial guidance. Research and resolve accounting issues and communicate findings and resolution to management. Perform statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and write narrative reports explaining findings. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and cost-saving opportunities. Conduct technical accounting research and assist with special projects, as needed. Coordinate with external auditors in support of quarterly reviews and the annual financial statement audit, including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor questions and requests. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in accounting required. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certificate is preferred. 3+ years of related accounting experience. Related industry experience preferred. Public accounting experience is highly preferred. Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; Self-motivated, organized, with ability to work in a dynamic environment; Ability to think analytically with a strong attention to detail; Demonstrate ability to problem solve. Pay $75,000 + based on experience.
