Description To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: Empty wastebaskets. Clean and sanitize rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas. Transport trash and waste to disposal area. Replenish lavatory supplies. Clean and polish lighting fixtures, surfaces, and trim. Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floor. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dust furniture, shelving and equipment. Polish metalwork. Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Wash windowsills and door panels. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to two (2) years of related or experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, product labels, reports and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and fractions.
