    Overview: S4 Inc. employees selected for this position will be supporting USSTRATCOM JEMSOC missions in order to provide the JEMSOC Director with Planning, Analysis, Spectrum Management, and Intelligence support. In addition, S4 employees will support Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for JCER to accomplish Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) readiness evaluations in order to accredit each Service/United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

    Specific Duties: In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating test plans to qualify and quantify different modulation schemes as required depending on the wireless communication system being implemented

  • Studying new system level features and working closely with engineers to come up with comprehensive test strategies to evaluate them

  • Making recommendations to cross-functional teams on resolving wireless system issues including but not limiting to baseband algorithms and RF/Antenna systems

  • Creating and executing detailed test plans for antenna performance evaluation

    Qualifications:

  • Current/active Top Secret+ security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, a related engineering, or physics discipline.

  • Five (5) + years of relevant experience

  • Experience in C++, MATLAB, Python, or other highly technical languages

  • Experience with applied electromagnetics and/or aircraft survivability; or comprehensive understanding of EM energy transmission through space and within material
