Position Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preventative maintenance, installation, repair, and work orders assigned to maintenance crews. Oversees maintenance of processes to reduce mechanical downtime and keep product flows and production lines running at maximum efficiency. This role will also be responsible for working closely with engineering and operations to ensure good cross-functional communication. This is a hands-on supervisor role working on the production floor alongside the team. Engagement & Involvement Assists in the repairs of the equipment alongside the team to ensure machines are up and running safely while minimizing downtime. Assist in communication within the maintenance area and across functions. Operates as contact and reliable resource for employee and team needs. This includes timely and meaningful follow-up to all questions, concerns & ideas, and being very visible and approachable in the eyes of the employees. Involves and engages employees through regular team meetings, process improvement discussions, follow-up on suggestions, and regular communication. Models a positive, resilient, and results-oriented approach. Makes sure employees know their opinions count. Responsible for the efficient maintenance of all plant equipment.
