Job Summary:  Griswold Home Care, named a 2023 Best of Home Care® Endorsed National Provider is seeking a Registered Nurse OR Licensed Practical Nurse (possibly retired). Griswold knows that CAREGIVING requires a TEAM and we are committed to offering the best in home care. This accomplishment is only awarded to a select group of businesses that meet the highest standards of care for their customers is looking for a Nurse or LPN (possibly retired) to join our team.  We are seeking to fill one or two developing positions.  The first and part time to full time position is for a RN or LPN who would enjoy going into the community and acting as a Community Liaison. This would require visiting various centers in the Metrowest-Boston area to educate people on how important home care is to maintain quality of life for our Senior Citizens as well as attending community events. We are seeking someone for 32- 40  hours per week. Additionally, we are seeking a Registered Nurse on an "on call" basis. This is not a weekly or monthly commitment but rather "need based."  It may be to fill a client's medication box, check their blood pressure, supervise  or evaluate Caregiver skills on the job. The position is open to someone who wishes to do both. The "Need Based" part would be compensated independently. We are looking for that special individual(s) that are caring and compassionate and are dedicated to helping others and us to improve client and caregiver satisfaction. Griswold has over 30 years of experience providing quality home care to the elderly, disabled adults and individuals recovering from illness. We recognize that the elderly often lack the assistance they need to remain independent at home. Griswold set out to offer a wide variety of in-home support services, with care plans customized to fit each client that could be adjusted as their needs change over time. This is a developing position for a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse. The RN or LPN can be retired but must hold a valid license in the state of Massachusetts and maintain their Nursing insurance, Requirements: • Must have a valid Nursing license in the state of Massachusetts • Requires at least 2-3 years of nursing experience. • Must have excellent communication skills • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision • Possess a professional demeanor with a client-centered focus Must have a valid Drivers license and valid transportation.
