Supplier Verification Analyst - 240000BD  

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Supplier Verification Analyst analyzes various components replaced under warranty by BMW Group Dealers prior to shipping them to the respective suppliers. They also identify target parts for inspection and develop effective inspection processes and test procedures for supplier verification analysis. They analyze defective parts, as required by AG and NA colleagues, and perform tests in accordance with established requirements utilizing available test equipment and processes. They conduct analysis to identify defects as well as outside influence by tracing the failure back to production, design, diagnostic, dealer, or customer usage issues. They will generate detailed reports and catalogue and share their data in an efficient, practical manner.

Key responsibilities for this role include preparing supplier parts for shipment, ensuring shipments contain quality defective parts and minimal logistical errors, and prioritizing bin closing and bin audits, as necessary, to maintain an optimal balance between outbound supplier shipments and supplier audit completions. They will identify, prioritize, and communicate top issues to project management and functional owners in BMW AG and NA. They will collaborate with Parts Inspectors to guide and continually improve their inspection processes to maximize accuracy and efficiency.

They will utilize various means of communication (i.e., email, Service Roundtables, Part Replacement Manual, etc.) with Dealers and Area Teams to steer Dealer behavior with regards to proper diagnosis, handling, and shipping of warranty parts. They will be required to complete special projects as leadership assigns and help in any areas as needed in the WPRC Facility. In support of BMW of North America's business objectives, this position requires regular, full-time attendance at a BMW facility.

The pay range for this role is: $41,100.00 - $48,900.00.

The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Requirements:  * 2-3 Years of wholesale/retail automotive experience with good working knowledge of automotive technology
