Job Summary

We are hiring a Director of Sales at our Springhill Suites, Navarre, Florida!

Situated directly on the Gulf, between Pensacola & Destin Beach, our Navarre Beach hotel is steps away from the beautiful water of the Emerald Coast. Our beachfront hotel features over 3,000 sq. ft. of event space perfect for weddings, meetings, & special occasions. This all-suite hotel blends residence-style comfort with resort-inspired amenities. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast before setting out to explore the sugar-white sands of Navarre Beach or take a dip in our lazy river & lounge beside our zero-entry pool. After enjoying the sun all day guests have the option to enjoy a memorable gulf front dining experience at our onsite restaurant Beach House Social.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years Director of Sales at a Beach Resort Property and strong destination wedding/event background. Are you a service-oriented, motivated, passionate, and collaborative individual, who has a deep understanding of how to continue to develop strong relationships with customers, how to effectively prospect, and how to positively and creatively lead teams? Do you like to provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth? Then this may be the job for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the highest quality of service to our customers at all times.

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.

  • Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.

  • Guide sales and marketing efforts as well as advertising tasks, public relations and administrative reporting.

  • Define and implement sales and marketing activities according to the Marketing Plan.

  • Prioritize, document, and organize work to meet deadlines .

Qualifications:

  • Prior Director of Sales Experience required (3+ years).

  • Beach Resort experience preferred.

  • Destination wedding experience preferred.

  • Marriott brand experience preferred.

  • Ability to maximize revenue and have a good understanding of Revenue Management.

  • Savvy in digital marketing and strong overall marketing background.

  • Experience in marketing multiple outlets and event space.

  • Extensive knowledge of leisure travel industry.

  • Ability to analyze financial and competitive data to make informed decisions.

  • Prior experience leading, motivating and managing successful sales teams.
