The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a PC Image Technician to join our Desktop Engineering team on a contract supporting Department of Homeland Security. The PC Image Technician is primarily focused on providing on-site support for individual and bulk image deployments. Imaging will include support to include both laptop and desktop hardware installations, validation, testing and will be conducted from customer and contractor sites.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a Desktop Engineering team member responsible for image deployments. Responsibilities include:

  • Re-image Windows 10/11 laptops and desktops for replacement / redeployment (In-Office).

  • Complete technical troubleshooting of computer hardware and software issues in a timely manner.

  • Research, identify, and drive the implementation of innovative approaches to system administration tasks with a focus on automation, error reduction, and service improvement.

  • Ability and willingness to learn and manage Windows client image, application packaging and scripting, and other related project work.

  • Process and onboard new applications.

  • Participate in monthly deployment of security patches to Windows workstations.

  • Communicate with a wide variety of skillsets from DevOps to individual users.

  • Update relevant IT ticketing system to record, technical steps taken and any complications.

  • Install and configure additional software and hardware as needed.

  • Update SOPs and Work Instructions on routine imaging tasks.

  • Respond, resolve, or escalate all service requests and incidents following established procedures.

  • Conduct testing of drivers, applications, peripherals, and operating system configurations.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.

  • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience without degree.

  • Any Microsoft certification.

  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic.

  • ITILv4 Foundation certification (not required to start but expected to attain in first six months).

  • Flexibility to work at different locations within the National Capital Region (DC and National Harbor, MD).

Desired:

  • Relevant DHS focused experience or agency knowledge.

  • Testing and imaging PC images for workstations and laptops.

  • Desktops and laptops (DELL, HP preferable).

  • Windows desktop operating systems (WIN10).

  • Knowledge of peripherals such as cameras and printers.

  • Microsoft SCCM.

  • Microsoft Intune.

  • Microsoft Office 365.

  • NIST 800-171 controls, and CMMC compliance.

  • Service Now or similar ticketing tool to document incidents and service requests.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$45,400 - $90,900
