Jones Lumber Company Truck Driver in Natchez, Mississippi

Overview

Jones Lumber Company is looking for a dependable and experienced truck driver to haul logs from various logging jobs to our Lumber Yards and Mills.  Driver will be paid on a percentage of what the truck grosses.

Qualifications

  • Must have a current CDL-A
  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Must have at least 2 years driving experience and been driving within the last 3 years (or) 6 months driving experience with completion of an accredited Commercial Driving School course.
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 3 years
  • DUI, DWI and other more severe offenses considered after 5 years from the date of conviction

     

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
  • Ability to exert muscle force when strapping or tarping loads
