Essential Functions

 

 Performs the major, more complex repair and modification work on slot machines.

 

Repairs all aspects of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic slot machines, which includes the fabrication of new parts and working blueprints.

Designs new parts to improve, repair, or simplify slot machines

Moves and places slot machines on and off the casino floor in accordance with plans designed and or approved by the director of gaming in accordance with Colorado Gaming Laws and Regulations.

Performs all job functions in accordance with Colorado Gaming Laws and Regulations.

Identifies and repairs "on-line system" malfunctions.

 Marginal Functions

 

Assists with access to and from all slot products. 

Removes fixed stools to gain access to slot product.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

* Mandatory Requirements*

 

 Knowledge of basic machine shop operations essential.

 

Basic electro-mechanical knowledge essential.

Colorado Gaming Support License required

Prior experience as a floor or shop mechanic required.

Desire to learn.

  Non-Mandatory Requirements

 

 Basic education from a trade school with training in the electro-mechanical field desirable.
