Job Description

The EHSQ Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) activities within the organization. This role involves implementing, maintaining, and improving EHSQ management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO standards. The EHSQ Coordinator will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of safety and quality, identifying risks, and implementing effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures and programs based on Invenergy’s global HSE guidelines.

  • Ensure c ontinu ous reinforcement of Invenergy Safety culture with Brazil team.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.

  • Plan and manage H SE training and awareness programs for employees.

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and safety performance metrics .

  • Detect and create trends based on team safety performance.

  • D evelop and implement emergency response plans for all company activities/locations.

  • Lead and communicate incident investigations and reporting.

  • Manage and control HSE documentation , ensur ing reporting compliance with local authorities , contracts, and internal standards .

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality , Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (Q EHS MS) in accordance with ISO 9001 , 14001 and 45001 standar d s .

  • Conduct internal audits and manage external audits to ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage External and Internal stakeholders’ complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Ensure quality documentation is up-to-date and properly maintained .

  • Work with all company departments to ensure internal processes continuous improvement and compliance with ISO requirements.

  • Lead the preparation and execution of ISO certification and surveillance audits.

  • Provide training and support to employees on ISO standards and requirements.

    Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in a HSE leadership role.

  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

  • Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Relevant certifications in HSE and Quality

  • Ability to Communicate in English

  • Able to travel up to 40% of his time.

  • Wind Industry Experience

  • Passport (and American Visa?) is a plus.
