The User Experience Content Designer II works with project teams by providing user-driven content design solutions, identifying customer touchpoints, creating user flows, training material, and producing best in class tone of voice. They align a project with success by providing best-in-class content design solutions.

  • Leads the gathering and formation of insights from user research, usability testing, UX benchmark examples, and applies user-centered design principles to identify content needs, craft content solutions, and deliver high-quality tone with impeccable grammar.

  • Collaborates with business teams and the Product Owner to understand business and technical requirements

  • Coordinates content reviews and action planning to ensure compliance to content approach and language standards

  • Develops work plans for content activities that include task breakdown, estimating, and dependencies to ensure accurate allocation of resource support

  • Mentors User Experience Content Designer level I’s to educate on content standards, tools, and processes

  • Completes other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the user experience function


  • Bachelor's Degree in in Writing, Technical Communications, or related field (e.g. learning experience design, interaction, graphics, visual communications, product, HCI, or equivalent experience) - Required

  • Master's Degree in in Writing, Technical Communications, or related field (e.g. learning experience design, interaction, graphics, visual communications, product, HCI, or equivalent experience) - Preferred

  • 4 years of experience in a writing/design role (specifically composing user-interface text for apps and/or digital platforms) or the equivalent combination of education and experience; background in creative writing, marketing, or training; experience with style guides and templates; competent in all of facets of the design process, and proficient at editing, grammar, and using tone of voice to produce consistently good content.
