Job Summary and Qualifications

The Systems Security Analyst is responsible for level 2 support of multiple supplier, member and employee systems. Responsible for ensuring system security policies are followed and goals are met. Must conduct user audits to ensure compliance. Conducts PASS live training and creates recorded training videos & material. The Systems Security Analyst will have comprehensive knowledge of all HealthTrust systems and how they interface with other source systems and provide IT teams guidance and recommendations for new & existing systems’ security requirements.

What you will do in this role includes:

  • Subject matter expert for PASS and security for all related HealthTrust systems

  • Serve as Tier 2 escalation point for customer service system access issues

  • Protect company data by implementing and enforcing company security and fire wall policies

  • Train and monitor the LSC team on PASS approval policies and processes

  • Coordinate with IT&S for level 3 support of issues that require escalation ensuring issue is tracked to resolution and root causes are identified and documented

  • Evaluate member reorganizations and company changes of control to assess system impacts and make recommendations

  • Coordinate with sr. leadership to manage timing of user account activation and deactivations related to new and existing members

  • Conduct regular security system audits

  • Analyze procedures and implement process improvements

  • Conduct live training for Member Security Coordinators (SMACs)

  • Develop and maintain SMAC training material as needed

  • Conduct user acceptance testing for security on all relevant system releases

  • Review supplier access requests and meet established SLA for responses

  • Provide distribution lists of member and supplier users for communications when needed

  • Manage security system backlog and priorities for bug fixes and enhancements

What qualifications you will need:  

  • College degree preferred

  • Work experience may be substituted for college degree preferred

  • 3 years or more experience supporting business systems and interfacing with customers and internal/ external stakeholder preferred

  • Strong understanding of data and systems highly desired preferred

  • IT Experience or Group Purchasing Experience a plus
