About the Role:

As a CBRE Compensation Sr. Partner, you will be responsible for the planning and roll-out of compensation programs, policies, and processes that support employees and business objectives.

This job is a part of the Total Rewards functional area which focuses on planning, designing, evaluating, and administering employee compensation and benefit programs. The Total Rewards team operates within a matrix environment as a center of expertise, with responsibility for the design and development of total rewards programs and processes. This role will support CBRE’s corporate functions, with a focus on our Accounting and Finance job family and shared services roles.

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer and research compensation, salary administration programs, and strategies that are compliant and up-to-date.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the management and execution of rewards projects, including taking the lead. for some rewards projects, as assigned.

  • Serve as compensation contact to HR managers to provide advice, direction, and guidance on complex compensation matters.

  • Conduct advanced market benchmarking of jobs to ensure the company is in alignment with industry pay.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and communication of various compensation and salary programs such as annual performance and merit increases.

  • Partake in department audits and create reports based on that information.

  • Take part in and provide feedback on assigned salary surveys.

  • Evaluate and ensure that job descriptions used are up-to-date and accurate.

  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.

  • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.

  • Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-7 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present analysis in a clear and concise manner.

  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Comp Partner position is $110,000 per year and the maximum salary for the Sr Comp Partner position is $135,000.00 per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
