Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

●      Perform general accounting entries, analysis, and reporting.

●      Prepare and maintain account reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts.

●      Flexible knowledge and willingness to support multiple accounting areas (general ledger, cash and banking, prepaids, inventory, fixed assets, accruals, etc.) with common business tasks.

●      Assist with quarterly review and annual audits, including the compilation and preparation of supporting schedules, work papers, and financial reports related to areas of responsibility.

●      Analyze monthly financial data and make sure all monthly activity has been recorded and reconciled.

●      Perform and review Sarbanes Oxley controls related to areas of responsibility.

●      Perform financial analysis to help support and evaluate decisions made by the Company’s senior management team.

●      Proactively team with other business functions to facilitate process improvement and resolve accounting issues.

●      Ability to understand and map end-to-end accounting cycles.

●      Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION

Minimum required:

●      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

EXPERIENCE

●      5+ years of combined relevant experience in general accounting preferred

●      Experience with MS Dynamic System or other large ERP system preferred

●      Advanced Microsoft skills including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS

●      Strong attention to details and ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

●      Excellent analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

●      Proven ability to work in a fast-paced public company environment.

●      Advanced understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and the ability to apply GAAP to new and existing transactions.

●      Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.

●      Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in fast paced and growth-oriented environment.

●      Familiarity with operating within the bounds of a Sarbanes-Oxley 404 controls environment.

●      Prior Big 4 experience preferred.
