Amazon Senior Supply Chain Manager, Air Network Planning & Strategy , Air Supply Chain and Analytics in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

Amazon Air is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills along with strong record of delivering results to support our team in building the next stage of the Amazon Air network in North America (NA). The team is comprised of leaders with in-depth experience of the Amazon supply chain and/or commercial airline networks who are passionate about taking the Amazon Air network to the next level and enable increasingly faster deliver speeds on more items at lower cost for Amazon customers. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will own strategic network design and planning decisions for the NA network over a specific time horizon or large-scale high visibility projects that span multiple planning horizons such as the capacity planning for external Cargo. Furthermore, the Senior Supply Chain Manager collaborate extensively with leaders across the organization, including senior operational and functional leaders, and serve as main Network Planning point of contact for the planning cycles or projects they own. This also includes frequent interactions with Amazon Air’s Senior Leadership team to drive key initiatives. If you seek this fast-paced Day One environment, come work on the Amazon Air team.

  • Ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams responsible

  • High proficiency in written and oral communications and ability to "produce well written documents" and presentations to leaders

  • High attention to detail, including proven ability to manage competing priorities, simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external organizations to achieve corporate goals, including the ability to influence upward as necessary

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically

  • Demonstrated ability to dig into potential risks and develop mitigation plans

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the planning, organizing, and execution of long-term, annual, or quarterly network planning cycles as well as large projects spanning multiple planning horizons

  • Partner with key functional stakeholders across the company to lead, support, and influence innovation across the Amazon Air network

  • Build strong partnerships with operational leaders to identify and eliminate constraints

  • Advise senior leadership on long-term decisions and structural changes to how Amazon Air operates

  • Innovate to improve customer outcomes, reduce carbon emissions, and decrease the end-to-end supply chain cost

  • Navigate through ambiguity; manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the cross-functional processes, and delivering on commitments

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
