Respiratory Therapist (RT) F/T Nights,

7PM to 7AM, Every 3rd Weekend, Rotated Holiday Schedule

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is looking for a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join their ever-growing team. Candidate must contain a license in the state of Tennessee, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description

  • Completes assessments and implements Respiratory technique to maintain or rehab patient with many different Respiratory illness/diseases.

  • Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.

  • Respiratory muscle training.

  • Mechanical Ventilator, Airvo, and Cough Assist.

  • Deep breathing and coughing.

  • Nebulizer treatments .

  • Cardio and pulmonary with collaboration.

  • Complete a variety of bedside treatments.

  • Complete in-services in collaboration with the nursing staff.

  • Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation.

  • Experience with tracheotomy.

  • Experience is a long term care setting.

  • Follow procedure and protocol of facility.

  • Performs related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT. Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.

  • Starting $33 hr and up
