Amazon Program Manager, Workforce/Labor Strategy in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

Program Manager- PAWS (Planning Analytics and Workforce Strategies) is a single threaded leader role responsible for end to end labor planning program operations for SSD FCs business. It encompasses working on multi facet projects with the goal to scale labor planning processes, improve business metrics and accuracy of labor plans to achieve in-stock and cost targets for the network. This role focuses to centralize labor planning tools with continuously driving parity within all line of businesses, drive automation in partnership with product and business intelligence partners and influence labor planning strategies through data-driven contributions. A Program Manager- PAWS is required to write documents to drive decision on yearly peak strategy inclusive of multifaced elements of site operations, S&OP, PxT and ops integration. This role needs to gain alignment from each of the departments demonstrating influence without authority and present the strategy for review at Director level and drive leadership behavior on final decision making. The scope of the role dictates to drive processes standardization, centralization and automation wherever necessary.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in workforce strategy & planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
