The Professional Education Program Manager will create & provide best-in-class training curriculum and education for the Cardiology community to support best in class outcomes with Impella and heart recovery for our patients.

This role requires working with a wide range of Cardiology specialties including Interventional Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Heart Failure, and General Cardiology

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate monthly live cases, author interviews and webinars. Support tradeshow/conference symposia as needed

  • This includes detailed project management of all programs with cross departmental collaboration, focused customer targeting, and execution.

  • Maintain weekly Prof Ed Newsletter

  • Ensure Maximum attendance at prof Ed programs through promotion on all Abiomed channels ​especially professional education newsletter.

  • Stay up to date on latest society meeting data; develop and post related learning modules/content with viewership growth.

  • Engage with digital communications teams to ensure evergreen content on all online channels ie CAMP, VuMedi, Murmur etc

  • Implement standards and ​best practices to ensure the success of Professional Education programs compliantly, within budget, and with a high level of quality.

  • Update impact report monthly for all professional education programs.

  • Develop content utilizing our KOL community and centers of excellence to support product utilization and clinical needs of customers.

  • Partner cross functionally to understand professional education needs

  • Deliver higher-level training to a variety of clinical stakeholders both in-person and in virtual settings

  • Maintain expertise and knowledge in relation to Company products and procedures, as well as current literature, key clinical papers, and trends in the industry.

  • Identify and contract with key education suppliers, third party vendors, and hospital partners

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred

· 5 years medical device industry and/or clinical experience

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing leadership in marketing, training, project management or operational department roles is required

· Excellent training skills, with the ability to clearly communicate product and therapy information to a variety of healthcare professionals

· Knowledge of the cardiovascular medical device marketplace and healthcare environment, ideally with deep expertise in cardiovascular clinical therapies and/or end-user experience with Impella products

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $112,000 - $179,400.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
