Shift:Friday - Tuesday 12:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Job Summary:The Maintenance Dispatcher is responsible for assisting internal and external business partners by answering calls, creating work orders, and coordinating repairs for the maintenance department. Other responsibilities include controls key distribution to contractors and staff, dispatches maintenance personnel during emergencies, helps prepare Everbridge communication messages, distributes work permits, red tag impairments, coordinates MNAA's fire system operations, facility inspections, and assists with other projects as assigned.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Distributes hot work permits and red tag impairments and coordinates fire system operations with contractors and maintenance teams as required.
  • Answers emergency calls and coordinates repairs when necessary.
  • Responds to phone calls, records information, and creates work orders requests.
  • Coordinates and controls maintenance functions and service to call-in requests to assure prompt response.
  • Prepares and analyzes daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics of work orders as determined by the supervisor.
  • Enters Assets in the work order system, as new are acquired or taken out of service.
  • Controls distribution of building keys to contractors and staff, and reports keys not returned in a timely manner.
  • Notifies proper authorities regarding fire system impairments.
  • Notifies state inspector if injuries occur on an escalator, and coordinates authorization to get the escalator back in service.
  • Routinely develops, tracks and updates escalators and elevators up/down times including contractor response times.
  • Reminds contractors of safety and security requirements.
  • Dispatches maintenance personnel during emergencies.
  • Adjusts the fire alarm system so that false alarms are not enunciated and distributes the proper job tag for on-site notification.
  • Inspects airport facilities and creates work orders to correct deficiencies.
  • Performs follow-up with maintenance personnel and requesters.
  • Establishes working relationships and rapport with customers.
  • Performs garage lighting inspections, programming of lighting.
  • Supports MNAA's commitment to its culture and values, including Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence (RISE).
  • Follows all safety regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Required:

  • Associate's Degree in Business or a related field of study or 4-7 years of relevant work experience with minimum of a H.S. Diploma
  • 2-4 years of dispatch, radio communication, customer service, or related experience.
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • Driver's License (upon hire)
  • Secure ramp driving certification (Attain within 90 days after hire)
