The Budd Group has an immediate opening for a full-time General Maintenance Tech:

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr Days: Monday - Friday Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Location: Nashville, TN (free parking, on bus route)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, and repairing broken items.
  • Able to perform cosmetic maintenance repairs of interior building, such as reattaching cove base.
  • Light plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, and flooring.
  • Assist with conference room set ups and cleaning as directed.
  • Repair and adjustments of furniture components.
  • Assist with physically moving employees within the building, as needed.
  • Receive and complete work orders while maintaining accurate records on material and labor.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with employees and client in a pleasant manner.
  • Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
  • Assisting with minor ground maintenance
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-years' prior light maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, lighting and electrical) experience
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Must be 18 years or older
