Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Nashville, Tennessee
Description Our client is in current pursuit for a qualified Full Charge Bookkeeper. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, and payroll. The clerical staff will address any concerns to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. Organized accounting professionals who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision and are self-driven so succeed as a Bookkeeper, this role could be for you! This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
Your responsibilities in this role
Other special projects as requested
Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together
Administrate Accounts Receivable
Conduct monthly accounting close
Manage Accounts Payable
Formulate cash flow projections, as needed
Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation
Organize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Recap business license and gross receipts
Complete cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Register budget transfers Requirements - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Detailed and have the ability work independently
- Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Solid understanding of bookkeeping
Deltek experience preferred
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
Highly organized and self-motivated
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
