Hyatt Engineer in NASHVILLE, Tennessee

Description:

The Engineer is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Duties & Functions

  • Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.

  • Maintain the building exterior

  • Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors windows and counters.

  • Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction

  • Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry

  • Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs

  • Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention

  • Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis

  • All other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Standards

  • At least one year of experience

  • Hotel experience preferred
