PeopleReady Concrete Mason in Nashville, Tennessee

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for experienced Concrete Masons to join our team for an upcoming project. The role involves handling various concrete-related tasks, from preparation to finishing, in both commercial and residential construction projects.

Note: The pay rate for this job is $27 - $30 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for pouring by aligning forms and ensuring proper measurements.

  • Pour, level, and smooth concrete for foundations, slabs, sidewalks, curbs, and other structures.

  • Install reinforcing rebar, wire mesh, or other materials as needed.

  • Use tools like trowels, screeds, floats, and edgers to shape, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces.

  • Patch and repair damaged concrete surfaces as needed.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications.

  • Follow all safety protocols on the job site to ensure a safe working environment.

 Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Concrete

  • Mason in commercial or residential projects.

  • Familiarity with tools, materials, and techniques used in concrete work.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.

  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.

  • Must have standard masonry tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

  • Reliable transportation to the job site.
