The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced

Development Program) is looking for world class

talent in SYSTEMS FIELD ENGINEERING to be a

part of a team that will carry on our tradition

making history in advanced aircraft

development.

As a System Field Engineer you will provide

technical services and guidance on installation, upgrades, maintenance, configuration management and mission operations of

Unmanned Air System (UAS) Ground Control Stations (GCS). Provide expertise for resolving technical problems, troubleshoots products and modifies them to customer requirements. Provides training to customers. The candidate will be an integral member of a technical team responsible for overseeing a complex mission system during operations and will be able to confer with a broader engineering team regarding anomalies in system operation.

As part of the team, the selected candidate will

help design, develop, integrate and test a variety

of mission system equipment onto airborne

platforms. The candidate will be expected to

performs hands-on activities by building and

installing electrical and mechanical components

including cable assemblies, computer systems

and voice/data communication devices. The

candidate will organize and manage multiple

prototype development areas. The candidate will

use special test equipment for verification of

system functionality.

Actively contribute in the team developing

several systems including System Integration

Labs, Deployable Shelters, and Fixed Facilities in

support of various projects. Work effectively with

members for the Hardware Engineering,

Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, and

Integration/Test teams to develop a flexible test

facility capable of supporting both development

and test efforts. leading maintenance, upgrade,

and build-up efforts on legacy and new systems,

on or ahead of schedule, within proposed

budgets. Support the Hardware Engineering

Lead when on travel, ensuring local efforts stay

coordinated and problems get resolved as they

arise. Actively contribute as part the Hardware

Engineering team, developing systems including

System Integration Labs (SILs), Deployable

Systems, and Fixed Facility systems across

several projects.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field OR applicable system admin/IT experience from desired skills below in lieu of the degree.

• Security+ Certification

• DoD Top Secret clearance required

Desired Skills:

UAV technology experience

• Network administration and computer system administration with experience troubleshooting networks and computers

• Quality Assurance experience

• Team leadership

• Technical report writing

• Logistics support experience

• Network installation

• Linux/Unix admin

•Flight test experience

Must be willing to travel, work any shift weekends holidays to meet customer requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
