SYSTEM ENGINEER - HVAC - RAIL DOMAIN

Job location: Campania or Toscana

The selected resource - acting as part of a team aimed to support the Engineering Dept. within a complex, structured environment with high pitched technological standards - will contribute to the development of project activities, with growing levels of autonomy and responsibility to take technical leadership on assigned projects.

Project-leading duties will include:

• Accountability for all committed Deliverables on day to day basis

• Technical review on Deliverables according to Company process compliance and maintaining the defect free delivery

• Estimation of work packages

• Responsibility on building the capability of the team and mentoring the team members

Required Background and Skills

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering;

• Excellent work experience on rolling stock /Loco/ Train HVAC system, with strong knowledge on operation principles of HVAC system, Air ducts, valves and various elements in HVAC system;

• Work Experience on 3D modelling/Assembly and manufacturing drawing creation for railway industry as per standards;

• Hands-on experience on Creo, CATIA V5 and PLM platform like Enovia / Windchill to create 3D models, 2D drawings and product structure;

• Knowledge on GD & T and tolerance stack-up;

• Work experience on A/C Duct, pneumatic piping, valves, filters and grilles mounting methods;

• Ability to present work executed at offshore to customer SPCs at onsite location;

• Ability to define component and assemblies of sub-systems as per manufacturing & assembly concepts;

• Ability to analyse and propose retrofit solution for existing design modifications on mechanical assemblies;

• Knowledge on Rail industry and rail operators standards for various regions like DB, EN, IEC
