UINTAH SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL COUNSELOR VERNAL MIDDLE SCHOOL in NAPLES, Utah

POSITION:  SCHOOL COUNSELOR  VERNAL MIDDLE SCHOOL

(Full-Time, Contract Position with Benefits)   Applicants must be 21 Years of age or older.     Minimum Requirements for Application:

  • Evidence of a master's degree, or proof of enrollment (or willingness to enroll) from an accredited institution with evidence of a school counseling endorsement.
  • Copy of Utah certification or a letter of eligibility from the Certification Office at the Utah State Office of Education, if applicable
  • Evidence of ability to work effectively with children, parents, staff, and community by means of a minimum of three letters of recommendation.
  • Provision of undergraduate and graduate transcripts
  • Completed application.
  • A Cover letter explaining clearly how you qualify/meet district expectations for the position.

      Responsibilities:

  • Work to maintain the schools College and Career Readiness School Counseling Program

  • Provide counseling services to students.
  • Work with diverse populations
  • Assist students with individual educational and career planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.
