Emerson Inside Sales Engineer- Korea in Nanjing, China

If you are a Sales support professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to work with Customer Care Team. This role will work as a part of a team to provide proactive supports to sales and customers. You will continually work to stay current on Flow products, applications, and industries.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Work closely with outside sales to achieve the financial targets

  • Receive requests for quotations, prepare proposals, and submit the quotations back to the customer

  • Ensure one day turnaround on quotation request and ensure 100% accuracy

  • Seek agreement with customer on technical details

  • Follow up on quotations sent to the customer

  • Work with outside sales for guidance on pricing, negotiations, and other customer specific details.

  • Receive purchase orders, screen the order for technical and commercial feasibility.

  • Ensure 12 hours turnaround for order screening upon receipt of purchase orders.

  • Cross check with the Interco factories and Order Admin to meet the customer delivery request date.

  • Build good working relations with customers

  • Support the achievement of Profit and Loss goals

  • Prepare reporting package in a timely and accurate manner

  • Provide management support on all ad-hoc reports and analysis

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related fields or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in valve and/or related industry sales with a multinational company.

  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and business operations of major customers.

  • Honesty, integrity, diligence and good partnership spirit.

  • Good command in written & spoken both English and Korean to ensure smooth communications.

  • Self-motivated, outgoing, sociable & good coordination skills

  • Good health and travel frequently.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Major in automation, mechanical, instrumentation or related are preferred.

  • Ideally experienced in dealing with senior stakeholders and decision makers at key accounts.

  • Readily learns and adopts new knowledge, learns quickly when facing new situations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
