Ford Motor Company Feature Delivery Engineer in Nanjing, China

Take the role of feature delivery engineer for China and export vehicle program to delivery program specific features per GPDS target on time with quality by working together with feature system engineers and cross function team.

  1. Directly responsible individual for program feature list robust sign-off and change management

  2. SPOC to program for vehicle feature delivery status report and escalation in function or program forum

  3. Maintain feature delivery health status and on time delivery with robustness (FMA, FuSA, Specification, hand-shakes with modules, etc.)

  4. Drive features cross functional issue resolution and experience improvement

  5. Drive learning and best practices and synergies for feature delivery from program to program

  6. Lead feature PAT meeting on weekly basis

  7. Represent feature PMT during management evaluation drive events for trouble shooting or experience improvement

  8. Represent in global forum for vehicle feature maturity status and drive progress

  9. Work closely with feature system engineering team including global connectivity team

  10. Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related major.

  11. 3 years minimum, engineering experience in embedded SW or feature delivery role, solutions of automotive Electrical/Electronic Systems

  12. Prefered technical skills: Hands-on experience in ECU design and release, system engineering and/or functional technical project management experience; Trouble shooting experiences with electromechanical and software systems; Demonstrated ability to applying engineering disciplines for failure mode avoidance; CAN modules development or diagnostic.

  13. Strong project management/coordination skills and analytical/ troubleshooting skills; Good communication skill; Positive to take challenge tasks; Initiative to bring team together and help team member; Good presentation skill.

  14. Can support conference call cross time zone.

  15. Good English skill in both oral and written.
