The candidate should be a seasoned SAP professional with a proven track record in navigating both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. Their expertise should extend to platform capabilities, architecture, project leadership, security, and compliance, ensuring the effective and optimal utilization of SAP systems to drive business success.

A Day in the Life

· Define, manage, and maintain an SAP ECC & S4 HANA development strategy and roadmap based on business context and change requirements.

· Responsible for designing and development of SAP RICEF objects.

· Understand and communicate how SAP ERP ECC and S4 interacts, supports, and integrates with other technologies and information systems.

· Collaborate with other functional leads and architects across the organization.

· Responsible for the technical integrity, and technical documentation.

· Work with cross-functional teams to drive business transformational change with partners, business units, and solution teams leveraging in developing specific solutions.

· Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including BASIS administrators, developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure security requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving security issues.

· Develop best practices and security standards for the organization

· Develop Information Security Plans and Policies

· Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware, or IT needs

· Provide expertise, guidance, and advice related to all application security issues

· Awareness training of the workforce on information security standards, policies and best practices

· Stay updated on the latest SAP security trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development efforts.

· Troubleshooting & Support.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

· 14+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree.

· 5+ years of experience as an SAP Security Consultant, with a focus on S4/HANA systems.

· In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, principles, and best practices, including role-based access controls, user provisioning, and authorization management.

· Hands-on experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Access Control, including setup, configuration, and rule development.

· Proficiency in configuring and managing SAP security components, including SAP Fiori, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP HANA.

· Strong understanding of SAP S4/HANA architecture and security implications, including data encryption, data masking, and secure communication protocols.

· Experience in conducting security assessments and audits for SAP systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation measures.

· Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, SOX, and HIPAA, as they relate to SAP security.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience working across US and multiple time zones.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

· Previous Medical devices and/or Pharma experience

· SAP Security certification(s) preferred (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Authorization and Auditing for SAP NetWeaver).
