Warehouse Trainee

Job Summary:

Warehouse Trainee position is responsible for a variety of different warehouse duties. He or she will be responsible for pulling materials from multiple warehouses to fulfill production requirements.

Monday - Friday (8am-4:30pm)

Warehouse Trainee; Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently pull materials for transfer requests

  • Operate forklifts to move, pull, load and unload orders

  • Assist Inventory Control with performing cycle counts

  • Use handheld scanning devices and inventory management system daily

  • Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be hard working and able to work in a fast-paced, goal oriented environment

  • Must be punctual and self-motivated

  • Ability to work individually and with a team

  • Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping and climbing

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without restriction, using proper safety methods

  • Must have excellent communication skills

  • Computer literacy required; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and the Internet

  • Demonstrated ability in basic mathematics

  • Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens including but not limited to; wheat, soy, egg, milk, and tree nut.

  • Ability to work in open environments, exposed to pungent odors and varying climates.
