Job Description

The Landscape Services Account Manager position is the key point of contact between our clients and Franz Witte’s resources. The Account Manager has full responsibility over their assigned book of business. The scope of responsibility for an Account Manager encompasses scheduling landscape services throughout the season, developing staff and building client relationships. A successful Account Manager will build upon their core portfolio to bring growth and profitability while providing exceptional service to their clients. It is a hands-on role in which the Account Manager handles all aspects of their clients’ needs from service delivery to contract management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Consistent communication with clients regarding job progress, resolving issues and updates as needed

  • Build client base through new business and adding services to existing clients

  • Attend weekly department scheduling and training meetings

  • Year-round management of all areas of landscape services for clients

  • Assess and maintain quality of workmanship and safety of job site and crew

  • Estimate a project, create a professional proposal for clients, document and summarize job information for billing and profitability

  • Constantly build on our marketing program to achieve department goals

  • Keep abreast of new products, practices and additional services we could provide

  • Create and give presentations to clients, the community and professional organizations as a representative of the company and/or industry when needed

  • Snow Removal management and services

  • Other duties as assigned

    Skills We’re Seeking:

  • Fluent in English and able to communicate in basic Spanish

  • Minimum 5 years of experience and knowledge of the landscape services industry and skills required

  • Strong customer service and contract management, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Strong sales skills and ability to speak comfortably to groups such as clients, HOA’s and neighborhood meetings

  • Proficient computer and smartphone skills

  • Business management knowledge and strong math skills

  • Higher education in Horticulture and strong desire to continue to learn

  • Manners, etiquette and professional appearance
