Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Muskegon, Michigan

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Muskegon, MI

Shift: Multiple Shifts Available (1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift)

  • 2nd – 3 pm – 11 pm

  • 3rd – 11pm – 7:00 am

Pay: $28 - $34 per hour (Pending Experience and Interview Process)

JOB SUMMARY This individual will be responsible for performing industrial maintenance on production machinery and related equipment. This consist of preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance. This individual will consistently performing both mechanical and electrical maintenance. Most of the machinery is heavy automated.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Performing industrial maintenance on production machinery and equipment

• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance

• Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance/troubleshooting (fixtures, machines, and equipment)

• Hydraulic maintenance (controls, clamps, pumps, and lines)

• Pneumatic maintenance (controls, clamps, pumps, and lines)

• Electrical maintenance (up to 480 volt, three phase, motors and wiring)

• Use of prints as needed (blueprints and schematics

• Troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers

• Facilities maintenance

• Building maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in direct industrial maintenance

• Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting (hydraulics and pneumatics)

• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting (up to 480 volts, three phase, motors and wiring)

• Preventative maintenance

•Troubleshooting of PLC’s

• Must have ability to read mechanical and electrical prints

• Must possess the required tools

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds properly

• Must possess sound problem-solving skill

• Must be able to work well with minimal supervision

• Must exercise team effort to achieve success.

• Must fully understand and adhere to maintenance, safety, and quality processes and procedures
