The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing tools and equipment in the areas of electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment
Diagnose problems related to electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Follow local and NEC codes
Keep accurate records of jobs performed
Work overtime and be available for call-ins and factory shutdowns
Perform preventative maintenance
Participates in standard job rotations. Perform job rotation with team members to insure proper standardized work and ergonomic safety.
Must be an Emergency Responder
Performs all 5S housekeeping tasks in appropriate areas. Works to ensure work area is maintained in a clean, orderly and safe condition at all times. Completes all regularly scheduled 5S checks. Immediately alerts team member and team coordinators of all unsafe work conditions.
Participates as a member of the Maintenance Team. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies. Coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Attends appropriate team meetings. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas of lack of cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues effecting cohesiveness. Actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.

High school graduate or equivalent
State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician’s license is required
Requires completion of Electrical Apprenticeship Program, a federally approved Journeyman License, or 5 years of equivalent electrical experience and must be trained in electrical troubleshooting; Must attend schooling and seminars for related studies
Technical Experience: Must have above average written and verbal communication skills; Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments; May be required to receive additional education & attend seminars for related training
Industry Experience : Must be able to work in a team environment; Must have powered industrial truck driver's license
