Job Description:

Full-time truck mechanic working on a variety of trucks range from light duty to semi-trucks. Perform a range of preventative maintenance procedures including lube, oil, filter, brake assemblies, and more. Typically, heavy-duty work is outsourced. Responsible to complete service record paperwork, order parts, research solutions, and update systems for maintenance reminder. Many opportunities to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Service fleet trucks

  • Repair various problems with trucks

  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections including DOT

  • Diagnose and repair various equipment

  • Maintain a clean area for safety and efficiency

  • Timely complete work orders with accuracy and detail

  • Research and order parts, maintaining an inventory to complete work timely

  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working on trucks (Required)

  • Must pass Drug Screen (Required)

  • Valid Driver's License (Required)

  • Must have a good driving record (MVR)

  • Must have own tools or the ability to acquire tools

  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.

  • Ability for data entry on a PC/tablet

  • Ability to follow processes

  • Organized and responsible

  • Be self-motivated and punctual
