Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new features in 1830 Photonic Service Switch. Provide support for the 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) DWDM platform to help optical network operators build networks that can accelerate the delivery of mobile, video, business, wavelength, Ethernet, and cloud services using short, long (200G wavelength distances of 2,000 km) and ultra-long-haul (100G wavelength distances of 7,500 km) high speed optical data center interconnection with payload capacity ranging up to 500G. Design network management protocols based on YANG, openconfig, Netconf, and SNMP. Design and develop new optical transmission features. Implement features in C++ in a real-time, embedded Linux system. Work with system test and field support teams to investigate software problems, isolate the root cause, and provide solutions.SALARY: $169, 229 USD per yearWORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, and 5 years of post-Bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: C/C++/shell programming and python automation test script; Multi-processor/multithreaded RTOS embedded system; Unix Internals and IPC concepts: Semaphores, Sockets, Multithreading, Message Queues, Pipes, Signals and rpm packaging; and software upgrade and database management.
