Amazon Principal IXT Business Partner, International Experience – DE in Munich, Germany

Description

The Amazon Inclusive eXperiences and Technology (IXT) Organization is seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our team and lead country-level DEI efforts across Germany. As a key member of the global team, you will be responsible for accelerating work in DEI for employees, communities and customers around the country. As a DEI and People subject matter expert, you will develop country strategy, bringing innovative ideas to support the team’s short and long-term needs, partnering closely with senior Business leaders, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Compliance, Legal, IXT Business Partners, Amazon Accessibility/Accommodation teams, Employer branding, Affinity Groups and other external and internal stakeholders.

Successful candidates will have proven experience with end-to-end program management and leading PXT/DEI Programs. You must have experience driving meaningful action, be data and detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will be asked to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and must have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional workstreams. The person in this role will be required to influence stakeholders and team members worldwide, so will need to be highly collaborative and able to influence without authority while also working with significant autonomy. This role reports into the Sr Manager, IXT International Experience – EU.

This role can be based in Munich or Berlin.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build trusted partnerships with key Country, Business and PXT leaders, Affinity Groups, community partners and IXT specialist teams to ensure design and execution of country strategy and roadmap.

  • Establish reporting cadence and requisite stakeholder form for discussion and debate.

  • Define key performance indicators by developing metrics for core programs and processes to asses strategic impact, and track delivery against program objectives.

  • Act as DEI subject matter expert by contributing country perspective, insights, and needs in global IXT forums.

  • Act as the country liaison for global IXT program and goal rollouts.

  • Support regulatory/compliance requirements in partnership with specialist teams.

  • Communicate new/updated programs, policies, and processes to leaders, employees, stakeholder partners, and cross functional organizations.

  • Engage in pan-Germany projects, benchmarks (both internally and externally) and in the identification, sharing and scaling of best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience delivering programs for large, cross-functional, global teams, using data and metrics to provide insights and drive improvements

  • Experience building and effectively executing a strategy from the ground up, including design of roadmaps to drive incremental progress towards long-term vision and goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive them to completion

  • Ability to motivate, influence and optimize senior leadership, stakeholders and peer groups without direct authority, resolving issues and overcoming hurdles to results

  • Executive level written and oral communication skills, advanced interpersonal and group facilitation skills
