The ANNAX Group has been part of the Wabtec Corporation Group since 2018 and has 3 locations in Germany, Switzerland and China with over 360 employees. Our system solutions in the rail industry include ANNAX passenger information with many integrated subsystems, such as seat reservation, passenger counting, video surveillance, information for the blind and deaf, infotainment/entertainment systems and more.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Industrial Engineer - Electronics & Software (all genders) at our Munich-Brunnthal site with immediate effect.

Your Mission:

  • Leading projects for process improvement, test automation and streamline workflows in close collaboration with the software engineering teams

  • Planning, programming, and setting up test stations in the production, including test plan creation, execution and result analysis.

  • Design and implement software-based solutions for process automation, data analysis, and real-time monitoring of production operations

  • Creation of requirements documents for production & automation software.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for production related software, ensuring smooth functionality and enhancing overall system performance

  • Acceptance/qualification of production software (internal and external developments)

  • Adaptation of test programmes regarding user interface and user-friendliness

  • Creation of production instructions for software, verification, and approvals

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field or a professional education

  • Experience with Electronics or Embedded systems is required

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing software solutions for manufacturing processes

  • Experience with C++, Python & Linux programming. LabVIEW is advantageous.

  • Working knowledge of interfacing with test equipment, test bench setup

  • Knowledge of configuration management and knowledge of relevant tools is advantageous

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully manage internal and external relationships

  • You communicate fluently in English. German language is advantageous
