Citigroup Transfer Pricing Vice President - MUMBAI in Mumbai, India

The Legal Entity Pricing Specialist will be a key member of Citi's transfer pricing team who are responsible for ensuring Citi's inter-company pricing is on an arm's length basis in compliance with regulatory, OECD and local country tax requirements.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Participation in internal multi-disciplined and multi-jurisdictional working groups that are mandated to establish and enforce transfer pricing policies globally throughout the firm

  • Helping to coordinate with Products and Corporate Functions to ensure implementation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies

  • Advising and supporting on documentation requirements in conjunction with the Inter Affiliate Documentation team.

  • Providing subject matter expertise on transfer pricing within Citigroup.

  • Supporting local & regional finance/tax colleagues in managing external audits by tax & other regulatory bodies, including APA and MAP related workstreams.

  • Liaise with external advisors and economists with respect to appropriate transfer pricing policies, research, planning and documentation

  • Participation in internal multi-disciplined and multi-jurisdictional working groups that are mandated to establish and enforce transfer pricing policies globally throughout the firm.

Minimum of 8 years transfer pricing experience, including thorough understanding of US Transfer Pricing Regulations and OECD requirements.

Relevant degree; Mathematics, Tax, Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

Strong analytical and technical research skills, and proven management skills. Financial Services transfer pricing experience is a must.

The candidate will possess strong relationship management and communication skills, both verbal and written. The candidate will also have experience in working across all levels within a global matrix environment.

Strong computer skills including advanced use of Excel and PowerPoint.
