Jacobs Senior Accounting Associate-Treasury in Mumbai, India

Your Impact:

· Update daily bank balance and FX currency balance.

· Track FX inwards for all currencies and provide purpose code and book the FX currencies.

· Daily cash management.

· Liasoning with Bankers & Mutual Fund advisors to get best rate / returns on investments keeping in mind the Jacobs Global Treasury policy. Also meeting them at periodic intervals to maintain cordial business relationship.

· Advising senior management on various investment options and taking action on the approvals received within specific timelines.

· Liasoning with senior management teams both within India and Global Treasury teams as and when required.

· Processing foreign currency and domestic payments and liaison with Bank as necessary.

· Provide accounting entries and support the month end process of reconciliation of bank accounts.

· Work on account opening/closing and signatory addition/deletion with bank.

· Investment activities in Deposits/Mutual Funds and Interest Rate negotiation with Bank.

· Issuance of bank guarantees per business requirements and maintain MIS for the same.

· Prepare Treasury MIS - Weekly bank balances summary/ Investment summary/ cash flow statement /Sox compliance etc.

· Support for internal audit and statutory audit activities and requirements.

· Support for banking/RBI compliances.

· Escalate critical issues to Senior Management at the right time.

Here’s what you’ll need :

· B.Com/M.Com/ is required.

· 5 years of relevant industry experience is required.

  • Strong knowledge of banking relationships and covenants

· Understanding and experience of Treasury Accounting including foreign exchange, liquidity, cashflow and various Financial Instruments.

· Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

· Completion of tasks in a time bound manner with the expected level of quality.

· Good Analytical skills.

· Strong varied experience with accounting software especially Oracle.

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
