As Production admin, you will be responsible to guarantee, perform and optimize processes in accordance with Nielsen standards, configuration and administration of the TV rating production system and alternative home screens. Control the production processes of the databases committed to clients, guaranteeing the integrity and protection of the information. Provide technical support to users and/or clients of the system and have extensive knowledge of the installation methodologies of related equipment remotely and on site, as well as support actively in the implementation of contingency plans, guaranteeing the information backups availability, documenting the processes and system operation, as well as investigating and responding to atypical events detected in production systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain E2E the TAM measurement production system.

  • Learn how the process flow production system works.

  • Support in the installation and configuration of production platforms.

  • Provides general maintenance to Windows/Linux servers involved in the production system.

  • Check the correct generation of audio signatures of the TV signals in the systems.

  • Installation and/or relocation of TV antennas in remote sites through third parties.

  • Monitors the performance of servers and/or related services.

  • Control of updates and security packages

  • Control daily, weekly and special production processes.

  • Verifies daily production processes

  • Performs verification of signature scanning processes for daily production.

  • Verify and confirm that there is a correct assignment of audiences

  • Guarantee the integrity of the information.

  • a. Guarantee the backup of information on assigned servers or devices.

  • b. Ensures implementation of security controls for backed up information.

  • Provide technical support to users who use production systems and consultings tools.

  • Performs the installation of Pollux ,UBO or Ariana/Mardata sofware to clients for internal or externar users.

  • Provides advice and support regarding the production system.

  • Generates the registration, cancellation and change of system users with access restrictions.

  • Supports the different internal and external areas (Nielsen)

PERSONAL SKILLS

  • Preferably a Systems, Communications, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineer or similar.

  • Intermediate or advanced english

  • Preferably 3 years or more in support, administration and/or architecture of multiplatform environments or experience in structured voice, data, audio and video cabling installations.

Knowladge in:

  • Maintenance of Hardware and Software

  • Linux (Debian & Red Hat)

  • Windows Server 2003 & 2008

  • Network services (DHCP, DNS, ADDS, WDS, RDS, SNMP, RRAS/VPN)

  • Routing & Switching

  • Database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
