Citigroup Portfolio Risk Analytics Analyst II- C10 in Mumbai, India
The Regulatory Risk Analyst II is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
Provides risk strategic analytics and information management across Citibank products; facilitating data-quality and controls for other teams and managers.
Provides regulatory risk project management support (business requirements, analysis and testing) for delivery of regulatory solutions. (i.e.. CECL, Part 30 core capabilities initiatives, stress test and CCAR regulatory requirements, etc.)
Performs business analysis to respond to regulatory and business questions and provide portfolio insights.
Performs data analysis to monitor and track data quality and completeness of data.
Performs User acceptance testing on assigned risk solutions. Proactively mitigate and manage testing & project issues.
Partners with Clients to understand and quickly respond to Client needs. Proactively seeks Client feedback to influence change throughout organization.
Assists project manager and work with business users to gather business requirements and draft and co-ordinate approval for Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
2-5 years experience and ability to partner with business & technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project goals.
Strong ability to interpret business requirements for the purpose of liaising with technology developers.
Knowledge of banking domain especially Risk Management.
Experiences managing tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
The Regulatory Risk Analyst II is a position responsible for portfolio monitoring and identifying credit trends by organizing and analyzing large amounts of data and providing in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and make recommendations that influence decisions of key business partners in the Risk Management team.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of new techniques and improvement of processes and workflows by applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge and integrating subject matter and industry expertise within Risk Management
Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, sampling, reconciliation, and quality testing.
Research customer and/or management queries using risk systems and data and support ad-hoc risk policy analyses and projects as required.
Participate in developing, testing, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance, and assist in the implementation of those policies, processes and other related initiatives.
Manage risk levels for the entire credit spectrum across multiple products and retail formats and prepare risk management presentations for senior management.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of consumer/commercial cards risk analytics
Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a sense of urgency.
Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects.
Proven interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills.
Experience in using analytical packages like SAS, Essbase, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Tableau
Vision and ability to provide innovative solutions to core business practices.
Ability to develop partnerships across multiple business and functional areas.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree with specialization in a quantitative discipline: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, Management, Engineering preferred.
