Global Markets Group is the offshoring arm of Morgan Stanley’s Sales & Trading businesses in India. It covers functions across IED ranging from those associated with sales, trading, analytics, strats to risk management. Primary Responsibilities ** The role is based in Mumbai and requires working with the Global Client Business Analytics Team. The role will require enhancing and maintaining the client resource consumption and forward calendar data distribution process and ensuring the accuracy of the information being submitted. The job will also involve in producing analytical initiatives for Global IED Sales and stakeholders and interact with Sales, Research, Corporate Access and CBA global teams on day to day basis.

The role involves working on –

· Preparing, compiling & submitting Morgan Stanley global corporate access forward calendar & overall resource consumption data on various 3rd party vendors engaged by Morgan Stanley or its clients.

· Post submission of the data, accountable for reviewing, identifying and resolving errors by coordinating with cross functional teams to meet the tight deadlines. Also ensuring accuracy of the data on various vendor portals and internal source systems post submission.

· Ensuring Morgan Stanley sales, sales traders, corporate access and research coverage details are always up-to-date on the third party vendor portals for broker votes.

· Reconciling large datasets for ensuring completeness, accuracy check and resolving breaks.

· Responsible for delivering bespoke requests and analysis to clients, senior management, sales and research personnel.

· Identify risks and data quality issues and escalate necessary information to stakeholders and technology.

· Demonstrating efficiency and innovation while proposing solutions to improve data capture and data integrity enhancements by engaging with technology, stakeholders and other global partners.

· Responsible for conducting UAT for various technological & process upgrades on internal systems.

· Creating and maintaining Business Requirement Documents as per the updates in function requirements and processes.

· Engage in effective & interactive dialogue with stakeholders, sales & key project members.

· Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

· Fast-learning, highly motivated person, with strong attention to detail and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure.

· Proficiency in MS Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Formulas) & MS Word.

· Highly analytical with good problem-solving skills and must have the ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly.

· Ability to cross reference a number of sources/applications to ensure accuracy of data.

· Knowledge of Equities sales and trading and business analysis, data management & handling experience is a plus.

· Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and collaboration skills.

· Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues.

· 4 to 5 years of experience.
